Training is an essential component of any successful integration of business continuity activities into a business.
An introduction to business continuity provides a solid foundation for the concepts and processes involved in making a business more resilient. It does this by applying the theory of business continuity to your own practical situation. This course allows participants to share experiences with each other in a safe, friendly environment and gives them the chance to ask questions relevant to their own work situation. It includes identifying the key personnel responsible for business continuity within their own business (if such people exist), identifying potential risks to a business through the use of a practical risk assessment exercises as well as identifying potential actions to mitigate or eliminate those risks. It then explores how to develop processes and procedures to establish robust and effective contingency planning and disaster recovery plans as well as communicating, practicing and reviewing those plans to ensure that they remain effective.
The day is very practical and can be tailored to suit individual or group needs. Each delegate will receive a full documentation pack as well as assess to Telco-op staff to reinforce any learning by answering questions that may occur when back in the workplace.
