Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is often synonymous with a business’s charitable efforts, or a document that is written and never read. At Telco-op CSR is a reflection of how we do business with our suppliers, our customers and within the environment within which we operate. It encapsulates how we as a company behave and the ethical and moral behaviour we expect.
Charitable donations do form part of our CSR, but it also includes our ‘Green Credentials’ as well as our attitudes and behaviours.
We invest in our environment allowing staff to participate in paid voluntary work for local charities such as the Newark & Notts Child Bereavement and Loss Centre as well as national charities such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
