Telco-op does not retain or process customer information in electronic form and therefore is exempt from registration with the Information Commissioner. However, Telco-op does apply the spirit of the Data Protect Act (1998) in all its dealings with information of a personal or private nature and safeguards all customer and employee information at all times. It does not retain information for longer than is necessary to comply with its procedures and does not collect information that is not relevant to its lawful business.
